Our production process
Global Languages’ native language translators are accredited by qualification organizations.
They have formal translation training and a minimum of five years of experience as professional translators. As a guarantee that they are aware of current language trends, we make sure that they have lived in their home country for an extended period of time over the past five years. They also have to pass our tests, translating a document in their areas of expertise and being evaluated by three senior members of our translation team.
For each project, we carefully select the linguists based on their knowledge of the language, area of expertise and target audience. Once the translation has been prepared, an editor reviews and refines the work to ensure that it expresses the text originally written in the target language. A reviewer evaluates it again, approving and delivering it to the project manager so that the work can be finalized.
Translation is the basis of our production process. Our philosophy is not just to translate a text, but to create a new text that maintains the intentions, nuances and content of the original work.
We have a team of translation professionals of the most varied linguistic backgrounds, with extensive academic and professional training in various areas such as electrical-electronics, medicine, chemistry, mechanics, information technology, telecommunications, business, legal, civil, and other fields of knowledge.
We assign a project manager to work with you. This means that all work is managed and coordinated from a single point of contact. The project manager is your liaison with Global Languages, keeping you regularly updated and solving problems and questions.
After thorough analysis, we create standard localization kits that include all files, glossaries, style guides, translation information and detailed instructions. They are distributed to all translators so that they understand the project and its objectives, and their responsibilities.
We are prepared to handle heavy workloads quickly, allowing your product to get where it needs to go in the shortest time possible. There’s little room for errors or delays in schedule – a common problem when you work with many monolingual suppliers.
With our simultaneous release system, your product goes into circulation in several places at once. Our rigorous processes and schedules and early coordination between language groups ensure that all work runs in parallel.
